The Art in the Park association was started in 1967 to promote art works in watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylics, batik, sculpture, pottery and photography.

 

The association aim to function as an open air gallery, with a proper committee, constitution and rules, open for beginners to professional artists from all cultures. It gives artists opportunity to improve and develop their talent and exhibit their paintings according to their own theme, style and expression.

 

The public can meet the artists, discuss their work, appreciate and compare art in an open air environment when they exhibit on the 4th Saturday of each month from 08h00-15h00 at Magnolia Dell. Original art are bought directly from the artist at competitive and affordable prices.

 

The association is a non-profitable organization and funds are obtained from fees for membership (+/- 30 members) and 10% commission on any sales to pay for rent of the park and advertising.
